Terms and Conditions

 

1. Aurora Bellydance reserves the right to cancel a performance at any time, and will refund any payments (including deposit) previously made.
2. Aurora Bellydance operates a full refund policy if the dancer booked is unavailable for the dates and times selected by the organiser.
3. If unavailable herself, Aurora will recommend other bellydancers who the organiser might want to book.
4. Aurora Bellydance reserves the right to be accompanied by a member of the team.
5. Aurora Bellydance reserves the right to be filmed and/or photographed by a member of the team with the organiser's permission.
6. Aurora Bellydance reserves the right to abort a performance in case of inappropriate behaviour from a member of the crowd and will request full payment for the performance.
7. The client will receive an invoice shortly after making a booking request. Full payment must be made within one week of the booking request to fully secure the booking.
8. If full payment is not received within 7 days, the date will be available to other potential offers from other clients.
9. If the organiser wishes to cancel a booking, he needs to do so by email correspondence.
10. No refunds (whether of deposit or full payment) apply if the booking is cancelled by the organiser.
11. The 50% discount is only applicable to charities or individuals organising a fundraising event.
12. The organiser must ensure suitable changing commodities are provided at the venue (large and clean toilets).
13. The organiser must ensure the bellydancer's personal belongings can be kept in a safe area during the performance.
14. Tipping is not expected but welcome during and/or after the performance. Tipping should preferably be done on the side of the skirt.
15. Travel expenses are included in the packages' prices, provided the performance is taking place withing London zones 1-3.
16. Supplements are added to the packages' prices if the performance is taking place in London zones 4-6. See online booking form for details.
17. Aurora Bellydance authorises the crowd to take videos and photos of the performances, provided they are only used as party souvenirs, and not shown in public, or put on any websites accessible by the general public.
18. Aurora Bellydance will ask for compensation if the videos and photos of the performances are used for commercial purposes.
19. Aurora Bellydance will accept a male-only crowd, but only if it is explicitly indicated on the online booking form (mixed crowd).
20. If the male-only crowd was not indicated on the online booking form, Aurora Bellydance may cancel the booking and will expect full payment of the performance.
21. The organiser needs to take extra care for the protection and integrity of the dancer during a male-only performance.
22. Tailored Package suggestions are only suggestions and will have to be discussed and agreed by both parties.
23. If no agreement can be reached for a Tailored Package, Aurora Bellydance will operate a full refund policy.
24. The procedure to agree a time: the dancer receives the booking form with suggestions of time, checks her availibily, confims the exact time she can make.
25. Once a time is agreed (email or phone) between the organiser and the agancy/ bellydancer, it must be respected.
26. If subsequently the dancer asks the organiser to modify the time, the organiser must try to accomodate the dancer as much as possible but has no obligation to change it. If no agreement can be reached the performance may be canceled and payment refunded.
27. If for whatever reason the event is running late (or early) and the organiser asks the dancer to modify the time, the dancer will try as much as possible to accomodate the organisers but has no obligation to do so. The time initially agreed will have to be respected.
28. If for whatever reason the event is running late (or early) and the organiser asks the dancer to modify the time, and the dancer is unable to arrive earlier or stay later, the initially agreed time will therefore have to be respected, and no refund will be made if the performance cannot take place within the time initially agreed.
29. Alternatively, the organiser can ask the bellydancer to stay longer (which the dancer may or may not accept), but both parties will have to agree on an extension of the cost of the performance.
30. Once full payment is made, no refund can be accepted unless the dancer decides to cancel.
31. If the event is cancelled on the same day and that the full payment has already been made, no refund can be accepted.
32. Methods of payment include: online bank transfers, cheques, Paypal payments. Cash will not be accepted (only for tips).
33. In the case of a change of dates, the dancer will try to accomodate the organisers but has no obligation to do so.
34. For classes, the teacher reserves the right to change the venue, times or dates for the classes.
35. If the student cannot attend a class he/she has already paid for because of the change of venue, time, date, the class will be refunded.
36. The teacher reserves the right to cancel the lessons without prior notice.
37. Prepaid fees for the lessons canceled will be refunded or can be carried over to subsequent lessons.
