What to wear?

Any comfortable stretchy trousers or leggings. Bring water.

No experience in dance or particular level of fitness is required to attend the class.

Flat bellies and rounded bellies all welcome!

Directions:

Rudy's Revenge is located at the corner between High Holborn and Endell Steet. (to the right of Oasis Sports Centre)

5 mins walk or less to Holborn, Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road.

Food and drinks are available at the bar upstairs before and after the class and during our 10-min break in the middle of the lesson.

Happy Hour 6pm to 8pm!!

 

 

 

Date:

Tuesday evenings from 8pm to 9.15pm. (class starting on October 20th)

Price:

Drop-in price: £7 (or £12.50 if attending Beginners-Improvers class as well)

10 tickets: £60 (valid for 4 months for any of the classes held at Rudy's Revenge)

This course is suitable for Intermediate-Advanced students.

Requirements: all basic moves including snake arms, camel, shoulder shimmy, chest circle, vertical and horizontal figure of 8 with hips, hip shimmy, basic crossing travelling move)

Targets: We'll tackle more technical and challenging moves (including belly rolls, body pops and chest fig. of 8...) and work on drum solo technique. We'll also work on layering (doing several moves at same time) and the use of props. And finally we'll work on the building of choreographies.

Opportunities:

Dedicated students who attend every week and want to progress quickly will have opportunities to perform in public at bellydancing events, and for more advanced students at a semi-professional level.

Bellydancing is a great way to keep fit and without the pain of strenuous workouts! In Bellydancing, everything is about pleasure and fun.

It is by far the best dance to increase your body awareness and coordination of movements, learn to move your body fluidly and astound your friends on Saturday nights!
