Beginners-Improvers
This course is suitable for complete beginners, beginners and improvers.
Requirements: None.
Targets: Get to grip with all the basic moves to music and learn a simple choreography.
Moves will include snake arms and other arm and hand movements, camel, shoulder shimmy, chest circle, vertical and horizontal figure of 8 with hips, hip shimmy, as well as various travelling moves, ...
Intermediate-Advanced
Requirements: all basic moves including snake arms, camel, shoulder shimmy, chest circle, vertical and horizontal figure of 8 with hips, hip shimmy, basic crossing travelling move)
Targets: We'll tackle more technical and challenging moves (including belly rolls, body pops and chest fig. of 8...) and work on drum solo technique. We'll also work on layering (doing several moves at same time) and the use of props. And finally we'll work on the building of choreographies.
Price:
Drop-in price: £7 (or £12.50 if attending both classes the same evening)
10 tickets: £60 (valid for 4 months for any of the classes held at Rudy's Revenge)
Opportunities:
Dedicated students who attend every week and want to progress quickly will have opportunities to perform in public at bellydancing events, and for more advanced students at a semi-professional level.
